Brown’s history in craftsmanship can be traced back at least 5 generations. From blacksmith, to wagon-worker, to Model-T’s and Model A’s, working with vehicles became a fundamental part of the Brown’s lifestyle. In 1954 Brown’s Body Shop and Collision Services would come to fruition. Keith Brown’s father, Sgt. Major Kenneth Brown, was fresh out of the Air Force and wanted to continue the tradition of his family. It was then that a small business was started in Texarkana, which grew to be known as one of the best shops in the area, where a passion for cars and craftsmanship intermixed in such a way that nothing but pure quality came from Brown’s. Kenneth Brown retired in 1972, but Brown’s Body Shop would continue through his son, Keith Brown. Keith took over the business after spending his youth in his father’s shop learning the tricks of the trade. Keith ran a very successful business in Texarkana until 1989, when he relocated both his shop and his family to Northwest Arkansas.
